The Office of Information and Public Relations within the Prosecutor’s Office attached to the High Court of Cassation and Justice is entitled to bring to the attention of the public the following:
On November 27, 2018, the financing contract for the project “Fighting criminality and corruption”, a project financed by the Norwegian Financial Mechanism 2014 – 2021, was signed.
The goal of the project is to improve the capacity of the Public Ministry to fight corruption and organized crime, thus contributing to the strengthening of the rule of law and the capacity of the judiciary as a whole.
The project has a value of 4,250,000 euros and a duration of 36 months, being completely financed by the Norwegian Financial Mechanism.
During the 3 years of implementation, over 600 prosecutors, judicial police officers and specialists will benefit from specialized training in areas such as combating petty corruption, public procurement fraud, environmental crime, as well as fighting organized crime, cybercrime and corruption.
